Whilst in Mallacoota, our friend Dot who was visiting from the UK got us hooked on the word puzzle in the Melbourne paper 'The Age'.
We moved on to New South Wales and found a Sydney paper with the puzzle in as well. When we got to Queensland though, we couldn't find the puzzle in any of the papers.
It was cold turkey time which called for desperate measures! To keep us going, I wrote a program that generated the puzzle using words from an English dictionary I had on the computer.
